Our Core Capabilities
Our engineering and manufacturing capabilities support customers from tooling and initial component manufacture through to high-volume production, welding, assembly and distribution.
For OEM and Tier 1 manufacturers, this means fewer supplier handovers, greater production control and a manufacturing partner capable of supporting long-term programmes at scale.
Metal Pressing
Precision metal pressing for repeat and high-volume production, supported by experienced engineers, extensive press capacity and established quality systems.
Progression Presswork
High-volume progression presswork for complex precision components, combining multiple forming operations within an efficient, repeatable production process.
Tooling Transfer
Transfer production from an existing supplier with engineering support to assess and, where suitable, adapt existing press tooling, helping minimise cost and production disruption.
Assembly
Metal parts assembly combining pressed components, welding and controlled assembly processes to supply more complete components and sub-assemblies.
Robotic MIG Welding
Robotic MIG welding for consistent welded components and assemblies, supporting repeatability and quality across ongoing production programmes.
Tandem Pressing
Tandem pressing for larger or more complex components requiring multiple forming operations, supporting reliable and repeatable production.
Laser Cutting
Precision laser cutting for sheet metal components, supporting accurate profiles, complex geometries and flexible manufacturing requirements.
NCT Punching
Precision NCT punching for repeatable sheet metal components, providing an efficient manufacturing route for punched profiles and formed features.
How We Work With You
At Kiyokuni, we understand the demands of high-volume metal pressing for businesses. Our process is designed for efficiency and consistent quality, ensuring we deliver on your critical production schedules.
Assessment & Engineering Review
Review drawings, volumes, materials, quality requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
Tooling & Process Planning
Assess tooling requirements or existing tooling and determine the appropriate manufacturing route.
High-Volume Production
Use the appropriate presswork process to manufacture components consistently at the required production volumes.
Secondary Operations & Quality Approval
Complete required welding, assembly or other value-added operations before inspection and final approval.
Need to Transfer Production From an Existing Supplier?
Changing manufacturing supplier doesn't always mean starting again with new tooling. If an existing supplier can no longer meet your production, quality or delivery requirements, Kiyokuni can assess your existing press tooling and determine whether it can be transferred to our manufacturing facility.
Where suitable, our engineers can adapt existing tooling to work with Kiyokuni's equipment, helping reduce transfer costs, shorten implementation times and minimise disruption to ongoing production.
Combined with our high-volume metal pressing capability, engineering expertise and established quality systems, this provides manufacturers with a practical route to securing reliable long-term production.
Why Choose Kiyokuni?
Kiyokuni blends the precision and continuous improvement principles of Japanese manufacturing (Kaizen) with the expertise and innovation of our British engineers.
This combination supports the quality, consistency and production reliability required by OEM and Tier 1 manufacturing programmes. With more than 35 years of experience, we support long-term production across automotive, off-highway, commercial and industrial and other demanding manufacturing sectors.
